Chris Cook, CEM
Senior Energy Engineer
Mr. Cook has 30 years experience in planning, developing, and implementing energy efficiency projects. He specializes in Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC), Utility Energy Service Contracts (UESC), and private capital agreements, which allow clients to finance energy improvements with the energy savings generated. He has performed large project and construction management functions across the US, Japan and Caribbean Basin at numerous sites. Mr. Cook managed the Energy Management and Alternative Fuels Office for NASA at the Kennedy Space Center, and he assisted the USAF Space Command in developing energy procurement strategies in addition to serving as the Resource Efficiency Manager for the 45th Space Wing. Prior to those roles, he was a Regional Project Development Manager for a national Energy Service Company, and provided consulting services to numerous utilities key accounts. Mr. Cook is a Federal Energy Management Award winner and is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Project Management Institute (PMI) and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Mr. Cook is conversational in English, Spanish, French, and Japanese.
